Day 1: Oxford (sort of)

I left home at 15:00ish after packing masses of stuff into the car. The roads were busy but no hold-ups. Got to Oxford Travelodge (actually one about 10km from Oxford) at around 17:00. Have been re-sorting bag (which seemed extremely heavy), watching TV and DVDs and used the net. I found an interesting destination in Wirral (over the river from Liverpool) that I didn't know about so may check that out and will report back tomorrow evening.
